2009 Grafton Bridge to Bridge Ski classic General Information

Zone 3 Ski Racing Inc. reserves the right to refuse entry to any Competitor at any time prior to commencement of the race.

ALL COMPETITORS: are to be registered with race officials by 5pm Friday 2ndOctober, 2009 at a location to be notified. This is to enable you to receive your map of the course and any other information you seek.

TROPHIES: 1st, 2nd & 3rd placegetters in each class will receive trophies -3 entries are needed to constitute a class.

SATURDAY 03/10/09

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The river will be closed upriver of the Kirchener St Wharf between 8am and 1pm Saturday to enable theCrown Duel shootout to be Staged.

Street Parade

ON SATURDAY 3rd OCTOBER, THERE WILL BE A STREET PARADE OF BOATS IN PRINCE ST AT 1PM

Prize for Best Presented Boat and Crew. Note: To be eligible for prizes sponsors stickers must be displayed on the boat.

THE CROWN DUEL & POLE POSITION SHOOTOUT

This event will be a time trial event to decide your class order & start position for Sunday’s event. Boats not competing in this event will start
towards the rear of their class for Sundays event. Competitors will be provided with their race numbers for Sundays event only briefing to be conducted at the Clarence Valley Community Centre.
To be eligible for selection for Super Class the crew must be approved by SRA

BRIEFING FOR BRIDGE TO BRIDGE -7.30am

A verbal briefing will be held at Saturday 3rd October, 2009, at the Clarence Valley Community Centre. Copies of written briefing sheet will
be included with envelope received at registration.

SUNDAY 04/10/2009

START: Start time is 9.00am. All ramps will close at 8.15am sharp.

TECHNICAL SCRUTINEERING: There will be a technical scrutineering after the race. All relevant craft will be directed to the boat ramp at which they can pull out and are to assemble in the designated scrutineering area.

UMBRELLAS ONLY on the riverbank between the Crown Hotel and the Bowling Club (NO TENTS, TARPS etc).

PRESENTATION will be held on Sunday 4th October, 2009 at the boulevard near the Crown Hotel.
